Yurt weekend.

We stayed in a yurt at Grayland Beach with Daniel's sister Leah, husband Joe and daughter Naomi. It was a great time!! The state park was clean and peaceful, the beach was within minutes of walking, the sun was out, and the yurt was warm and cozy. Daniel took the day off Friday so we all met up that after noun and flew kites on the beach, it was a little too windy for Ridges liking but luckily he could still sleep with it. We had a small fire for our yummy hot dog dinner, then lots of treats, chit chat, and games, then and early morning wake up call by Naomi. We had a delicious breakfast by Daniel after running to the store to buy eggs and butter since I forgot them. oops.. There was not as much wind as the day before so we all enjoyed playing in the water and sand.
Ridge got a taste of his first gramcraker.

After a fun filled day we stopped for an ice cream cone on the way home.... Now that is how a large ice cream cone should be! For those of you who have never been to the little Ma & Pa burger joint in Montesano, Go it is so worth it.. Thanks for a fabulous weekend Carluccio family..

4 months

My little man is now 4 months old. He had his 4 month doctors appointment and shots (not fun!).. I love him more today then yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.. I always thought that was a cheesy song but its kinda true. I love that little guy to pieces and everyday I feel like I love him more.
Here are a few of his stats and cute stuff..

Weight: 14.2 Dr. said he should have doubled his birth weight by now and he did exactly. (birth 7.1)
Height: I think it was 25 inches.
He is in the 30th percentile for weight and 50th for height so he is pretty much an average boy so far.
Head: Don't remember but good size.
He has slept till 5:30 a few times but still typically wakes up once around 3:am.
He makes a clicking noise with his tongue, I don't know how he does it because his mouth is closed but I can hear it from the other room.
He really gets into his kicking time on his back but I really need to start putting him on his belly more.
He talks and coos alot and it is so cute and so much fun to listen to.
I think he laughs too but it is sometimes hard to tell.
He smiles with his whole face and I don't know if I have ever seen anything cuter.
He turns his head when either Daniel and I are talking to him.
He reaches for things but doesn't yet know how to work his fingers.
If something is in his hand or near his mouth he sucks on it.
He drools... alot!
He sucks on two fingers then three then sometimes four then sometimes he sticks his whole hand in his mouth and gags, he also plays with his tongue
He has never exploded poop out his back but it has leaked a little down his legs and stained a few outfits.
He has peed multiple times on almost everything, boys keep you on your toes.. :)
He has a bum like his father, which is no bum at all, hehe,, so cute.
He has major gas and it is very stinky, and I'm not exaggerating.
He still likes you to stand up when you hold him and be moving.
Daniel can balance him on one hand in the air for a long time and he likes it.
And he of course loves his mom and dad.

There are endless adorable things my little man does but I am sure most babys do so I won't list everything.

Ridge and/or a Teddy Bear

Wednesday and Thursday I got to spend at my sister Tawnya's house with my mom and Seth, oh and my dad popped in for a short visit as well. I helped her clean their trailer where they will be living soon while they build a house. It was a dirty job but I was glad to help. And we of course made a little time to have some fun with Ridge. (For once this was not my idea)...

Yakima

We went to Yakima visited Anna and her family and was there for her new baby Lydia's blessing. It was alot of fun playing with her kids they are very cute and full of energy and new little Lydia is a beautiful baby, its crazy comparing her to Ridge and seeing how much he has grown. Hailey Anna's oldest daughter loved our dog Sam. She walked her on the leash all over the back yard all day.. She also gave her food, fresh water, told her to sit and stay, gave her sticks to play with etc. I have never seen a 6 year old girl love and take care of a dog so well, it was so sweet. Sammy will be happy to see her agian when they visit this summer.
