Ridge and I have both been very excited about going to the pumpkin patch this year. He remembered how much fun the the hay maze and the slide was and couldn't wait to do it again. The slide has ridges on it and gets faster with each kid who goes down, so they were shooting out the bottom then holding their bums saying owie as they ran up the stairs to do it again and again.
Ridge is picky just like his mom when it comes to picking out a pumpkin so he'd carried one around till he found a better one then switched it out. We also picked out pumpkins for Gma, Gpa, Daddy, and me so while I was trying to carry all those over to the tractor Ridge apparently was picking a new one of his own. On the ride back I saw him holding a tiny pumpkin with no stem and gross moldy holes on the back. Luckily his heart wasn't set on it so when we got back to the main building I had him swap it out with a nicer one then quickly put them all in the car before he could change his mind again.
We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day with no wind, and we already can't wait till next year to go again.
